Welcome !

 

I am Le Joyeux Scribe (« the happy scribe »), French TTRPG enthusiast.

 

This is my blog for talking about tabletop RPGs in English and French.

I like games that :

• have simple rules and generally shorter formats ;
• care about their accessibility (in all the dimensions it can take) ;
• are creative and assume to take their own direction. 

I like the winds of freedom and thought that various, more recent movements like the OSR (and NSR, FKR...), the Forge and PbtA games have raised.

I write my own games and game material. I also translate indie games I like from English to French, with permission of their authors of course.

I can and like to write fluff, write rules, and make games accessible, but there are many people with better credentials than me, especially in English. For projects in French, we can still talk.
